Truckly is a personal project maintained by ngarciia04. Privacy contact: hello@truckly.app.

The application is designed to process most data on your device. Game telemetry is read from the ETS2/ATS shared memory and never leaves your computer. Your trip history, profiles and settings are stored in a local database (SQLite) and in the system's local storage.

Except for the optional cases described in this policy (account, integrations, maps and updates), we do not send data to our servers.

Real-time game telemetry: speed, RPM, gear, fuel, AdBlue, lights, brakes, damage, position, etc.

Trip records: origin, destination, company, cargo, revenue, experience, distances, fuel, speeds, fines, tolls, ferries and duration.

Preferences, language, game profiles and data cache.

The telemetry plugin installed into the game's plugins folder (a local-only change to your files).

Account and cloud sync (Supabase): if you create an account (email and password or Google) and use sync, your trips, profile, username, avatar, game profiles, truck license plates, photos, achievements and leaderboard data are stored on Supabase servers, located in the European Union.

Trajectories: the exact route of your trips (GPS data) is only uploaded if you enable the "save trajectories" option in the settings. This is explicit, separate consent; if you don't enable it, trajectories stay only on your device.

Spotify: if you connect your Spotify account, the authorization flow runs on your device and tokens are stored locally. They only communicate with the Spotify API to display and, if you have Premium, control your own playback.

Discord: if Discord is running, the game name and current city are sent to the local Discord client to be shown on your profile (Rich Presence).

Maps and geocoding: the map loads tiles from Carto, OpenFreeMap and OpenMapTiles. When a city is not in the local database, its name is sent to Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) to obtain coordinates.

Updates: the application queries download.truckly.es to check and download new versions.

Consent: for cloud sync, trajectories and the Spotify and Discord integrations.

Performance of a contract: to create your account and provide you with the cloud services you request.

Legitimate interest: for security, product improvement and abuse prevention.

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not build marketing profiles and we do not sell data to third parties.

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, as well as to data portability.

From the application you can export your data, import data and delete your account (which erases your trips and profile).

You can withdraw your consent at any time from the application settings.

You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or the data protection authority of your country.

We keep your account data while your account is active or as long as necessary to provide you with the service. You can delete it at any time from the application.

Local data on your device is removed when you uninstall the application and delete its data folder.

The application is not directed at children. To create an account you must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required by your country's legislation, which in Spain is 14).

Communications with Supabase, Spotify, map providers and the update server are made through encrypted connections (HTTPS).

Access tokens are stored on your device. We do not store passwords in plain text: authentication is handled by Supabase Auth.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will publish changes on this page and, when relevant, notify you from the application.
