Truckly includes a plugin based on the official SCS Software SDK that communicates directly with the game engine. This plugin sends real-time data like speed, RPM, gear, fuel level, GPS, truck damage, lights and brakes status. The desktop app receives this data and displays it on an interactive dashboard with fluid animations.

Is my data stored in the cloud?

Yes, if you want. Truckly uses Supabase to sync your trips, profile and statistics to the cloud. But it's not mandatory. All data is saved locally first and syncing is automatic when there's a connection.

How does the Spotify connection work?

Truckly integrates with Spotify through the Spotify web API. You can connect your account from the control panel. Once connected, you'll see the currently playing song with title, artist, album and artwork, along with a live progress bar. With Spotify Premium you can control playback directly from Truckly: pause, resume, next, previous, shuffle and volume. With Spotify Free you can see the current song and progress, but playback controls won't be available, since the Spotify API only allows remote control on Premium accounts.

Truckly has a built-in auto-updater. When a new version is available, the app will notify you and you can download and install the update with one click. You can also download the latest version from the download page.
